The Apartment

From the entrance of this pretty apartment with a terrace and a view of Lisbon, we are immediately plunged into a light and sunny atmosphere.

The main room is split into two parts by a beautiful wooden beam. A beautiful kitchen is composed of a wooden mosaic faces the living room. It offers a pretty view of the terrace thanks to a large window.

You will find in front of the kitchen a living room with two sofas. In this living room, there is many plants and tastefully-chosen decorative objects. The room is bathed in light thanks to windows opening up to the sky.  

The terrace is the jewel of this magnificent apartment. Facing the city, its roof allows you to make the most of it regardless of the season. Its left wall is lined with many plants and flowers forming a wonderful greenery wall. This place is perfect for sweet summer evenings or any other moment of the day.

The first is a double bedroom located on the left of the living room. Its large, round mirror dresses up the room. A pretty, white dresser is across from the bed which itself is lined with several shelves of decorative objects.

The second bedroom has a twin bed. If you open the window’s wooden shutters, you will discover a new viewpoint over the city.

The neighborhood

This pretty apartment with a terrace and a view of Lisbon is located near the  Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon’s longest road.  The Lisbon poet, Fernando Pessoa, called it the city’s prettiest street. Considered to be one of Lisbon’s most famous avenues, it is lined with plane trees, palm trees and other trees, adorned with statues, and dotted with flower beds.

Starting from the Marques Plombal Square and joining the Restauradores Square, the rectilinear route is framed by underrated neighborhoods. It is a nice place to walk and discover gardens, churches, and new viewpoints.  

The upper part of the avenue offers a global view of the heart of the city with its plane trees and its gardens. Starting the climb down, the up-scale shops are linked to the ladies’ delight.

At the center of the avenue you will find the Tivoli Theater. This beautiful, neoclassical building blends in nicely with the avenue’s landscape. Today the theater offers a variety of shows with successful plays and even an occasional concert. We can also find many bars and restaurants on this avenue.

If you would like to enjoy a place lost in time, you must visit Lisbon’s Botanical Garden. With an area of 40 hectares, the garden was inaugurated in 1878. Recognized for its subtropical flora, it is partnered with the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Science.

The lower part of the avenue brings you to the Restauradores Square: a place that is home to many architectural quirks, including some buildings inspired by the Palace of Versailles.

Considered to be the 35th most expensive avenue in the world, the Avenida da Liberdade is filled with local, but refined culinary delights.
