From the small private patio with the appearance of garden gates, we discover an entrance corridor giving access to the different spaces of this charming apartment with balcony in Lisbon.
From this corridor, the door on the right leads to the kitchen of the apartment. The white lacquering of the furniture and the floor reflects the exterior lighting, highlighting a kitchen arranged at an angle to optimize the space around a small table suitable for a family breakfast.
The first sleeping space located on the elevated level of the living area was decorated with sobriety with light gray touches that reveal a palette of light colors. The windows give access to the private patio of the entrance which completes this functional room, besides, equipped with a large wardrobe for storage.
Located slightly below the first plateau is the living space of the property, an "open space" offering, on one side, a reading and relaxation corner and on the other side, a beautiful dining table. The noble materials such as wood and glass were favored to highlight some pieces of art such as a the sumptuous sculpture inspired by Giacometti, enlightened by natural light in provenance from the terrace.
Hidden behind a sliding door, the last bedroom of the apartment completes the visit with its urban and elegant decoration. This intimate parental suite has its own bathroom in white ceramic tile as well as its own small terrace.

The decor of this neighborhood evolves according to two distinct facets; A neighborhood life by day, and a more lively nightlife.
During the day, we discover a colorful and quiet district. Animations are made on the edges of the restaurant terraces that emanate the smell of traditional cuisine, but also near the Rua do Norte, where trendy fashion boutiques flourish.
At night, the streets fill with passerby’s from all over the world, who live happily in bars in Porto or at the bend of a live concert.

Also known as Palace dos Carvalhos, it was erected at the beginning of the XVII century by the great father of Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, better known under the title of Marquis of Pombal.
On the same street, you will be amazed by the baroque architecture of the imposing Convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição dos Cardais, founded in 1681 as a female monastery of Carmelites with naked feet.
After a long visit, a relaxing break at the BA Wine Bar do Bairro Alto is imposed around local cheese or charcuterie, accompanied by a glass of local Portuguese wine.
